Associate, Business Development

Department

The department is Business Development. This department plays the role of revenue and occupancy management for our portfolio of Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) assets across Australia. Your designation is Associate, Business Development. You will report directly to the relevant manager or senior of the team. Occasional travel to Australia is required.


Scope of Work

Your role is to assist the team in its responsibilities, which includes the following (but not limited to):

  • Revenue and occupancy management – Work with third party operator to manage the revenue and occupancy of a portfolio of PBSA assets in Australia
  • Pricing Management - Set rate strategies for all properties and undertake active pricing management.
  • Performance Reporting - To report to management on performance of portfolio on a regular basis.
  • Prepare a revenue strategy for each asset and monitor performance against budget.
  • Work with the asset management team to prepare and monitor the property budget.
  • Provides the overall direction for marketing campaigns and coordinate with third party operator marketing department to execute.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate or Business discipline
  • At least 1 to 2 years of revenue management, sales, or business development experience in the real estate hospitality sector
  • Fresh graduates are also welcome to apply
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking, initiative and able to present ideas clearly
  • Be business oriented – Think independently and plan strategies to achieve business growth
  • Be driven, enthusiastic and ability to work in a team.
  • Strong numerical, planning & analytical skills
  • A self-starter with the ability to spot potential for process improvement
  • Occasional Travel regionally and to Australia is required
