Job Summary:
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business opportunities within the education sector. You will work closely with MOE schools, leveraging GeBiz and other resources to drive business growth and expand our reach in the market. Your strong communication skills and keen understanding of the education landscape will be vital in establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients, competitors, and emerging trends in the education and training industry. Analyze market data to develop effective sales strategies.
- Business Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with MOE schools and key decision-makers. Act as a trusted advisor and partner to understand their needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.Lead Generation: Proactively seek out new business opportunities by identifying potential clients.
- Proposal Development: Prepare compelling and customized business proposals and presentations to showcase our services and value proposition. Collaborate with the internal team to ensure proposals align with clients' needs and expectations.
- Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiation processes to secure contracts and close deals with MOE schools. Effectively handle objections and present solutions that align with the clients' budget and requirements.
- GeBiz Management: Manage and navigate the GeBiz platform to identify, bid, and secure relevant government tenders and projects.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system. Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market insights.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional units, including Marketing and Program Development, to ensure a seamless delivery of services to clients and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record in sales and business development, preferably in the education or training industry.
- Familiarity with the GeBiz platform and experience in bidding for government tenders is a strong advantage.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, meeting targets and deadlines.
- A passion for education and a deep understanding of the local education landscape.
- Ability to analyze market trends, identify business opportunities, and develop strategic sales plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
