We are currently seeking a talented researcher to strengthen the research activities at the Singapore Centre for 3D Printing (SC3DP), a centre of excellence in additive manufacturing, funded by the National Research Foundation (NRF), Singapore, and supported by Nanyang Technological University (NTU), the Economic Development Board (EDB) and Industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on the use of additive manufacturing for the fabrication of bioelectronics and biosensors for disease detection and tissue engineering applications
- Design relevant biosensors and bioelectronics, develop suitable material formulations, optimize printing conditions and validate printed devices
- Support final year project students, MSc and PhD students in their research activities
- Help the principal investigator in management of the laboratory and research activities
- Elaborate high quality research papers
- Identify, plan, and prepare new research proposals
Job Requirements:
- PhD in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 2-year work experiences in the area of 3D Printing
- Expertise in material characterisation techniques
- Knowledge in biosensing and design for 3D printable electronics
- Knowledge and experience in the field of 3D printing for tissue engineering applications
- Strong publication track record
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in the English language is mandatory
