Main purpose of the role: The M&BD Hub is a central marketing team, predominantly based in the UK. The M&BD Hub supports the wider international M&BD team to deliver a range of marketing activity with its client facing activity. The M&BD Executive will be a key part of this team. They’ll be expected to deliver high-quality, brand compliant activity with minimal supervision. Full training will be provided.

Reports to: Senior Executive – M&BD Hub


Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Execution of marketing communications– delivering marketing communications activity across online and offline channels, including the firm’s website and intranet, social media channels, webinar platform and eMarketing platform. Working with the marcomms managers to understand marketing and brand policies and best practice, challenging requests which are not in line with these.

CRM (InterAction and Introhive) – championing the system and proactively advising the wider M&BD team on how CRM can support their M&BD efforts.

Marketing technology – gaining an in-depth understanding of the features of our marketing technology platforms. Managing technical issues and communicating with wider team on these.

Event management – on the day assistance with both in-person and webinar events.

Directory management – assisting with uploading directory submissions and responsible for maintaining the firmwide record of rankings and commentary.

Managing resources – working with the other executives and assistants in the M&BD Hub team to ensure that the right levels of service delivery are provided, noting that the remainder of the M&BD team will be working on UK time zone.

Training and development – training new joiners and training the wider team on Hub team supported platforms. Attending training to develop own skills and supporting assistants in the same.

Working as a team – working with the Hub team to reach milestones and achieve objectives both in terms of significant projects and day to day work.

Achieving deadlines – being proactive in picking up tasks and completing them in accordance with deadlines.

Familiarity with M&BD processes– continuously developing and evolving knowledge of relevant M&BD processes to provide efficient and high-quality support to the wider M&BD team and the firm.

Process improvement – continuously assessing and improving the efficiencies within the team and suggesting improvements to processes in the department. Working with IT and other business services functions to reduce time spent on tasks.

Problem resolution – being the escalation point for tricky or contentious issues from the APAC and Middle East regions.

Reporting – reporting of service delivery and project progress.


Person specification:

  • Minimum of two years industry, marketing or business development experience
  • Able to work effectively as part of a diverse and inclusive team
  • Organised approach to work
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Ability to work closely with others and support each other.
  • Ability to work with a team across different time zones and to brief unfinished work over for others to complete
  • Well-developed understanding of the tasks that fit under the M&BD department.
  • Familiarity with M&BD technology. Knowledge of Content Management Systems and/or eMarketing platforms would be advantageous.
  • Able to build effective relationships and networks across the firm and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills, and able to influence others to support objectives
  • Solution oriented
  • Commercially driven
  • Flexibility and a willingness to work additional hours on occasion as required.
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow processes in a timely fashion
