Job Purpose:
The International Markets Lead is a primary point of contact to the SBM Head for making recommendations for the International Markets G2M strategy, sales targets, and quarterly reporting of performance with explanation of the drivers and barriers and opportunities to drive asset value. Responsible for supporting the Established Markets cross functional teams deliver successful launches.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensure industry-leading launch / new indication preparedness of International Markets team and the top markets
- Lead establishment of ophthalmology marketing capabilities and organizations in collaboration with Int-C
- Support the development of the global launch plan and integrated Brand Plan through effective cross-functional planning and coordination
- Represent EST commercial voice on the GPST
- Advise SBM Head on annual sales targets and quarterly performance of top International Markets with recommendations on how to improve sales performance
- Work with the GBL and INT-C Markets Lead to align on global strategy and global needs for key Int-C markets
- Co-create the International top markets’ 1 year operational plan with the Medical Lead
- Work with countries to build sales targets, tactics and P&L and ensure effective/ coordinated execution of the plan
- Interface with the Int-C Leadership team and General Managers to co-ordinate strategy, launch and regional needs - Work with all cross functional partners to ensure a successful launch

External: professional bodies, external suppliers and consultants, Key External Experts
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge gained through a university degree and 10-15 years of progressive commercial experience.
- Proven ability and experience to effectively lead an international commercial group in a complex global environment for a multinational pharmaceutical company.
- Ophthalmology experience necessary
