Responsibilities:
- Identify new and potential suppliers to expand supplier based to improve sourcing capabilities.
- Manage relationship with suppliers and vendors.
- Perform price and market analysis.
- Perform timely inventory planning to ensure fulfilment of customers' orders.
- Perform inventory control and monitor stock movement.
- Responsible for sourcing, evaluation and purchasing of materials.
- Negotiate with vendors for competitive prices and quality.
- Prepare reports and statistics for management.
- Monitor and ensure on time delivery to ensure customer fulfilment.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, procurement policies and procedures.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma and above
- At least 2 - 3 years of purchasing and procurement experience in F&B or FMCG
- Native japanese speaker as required to liaise with japan counterparts
