Job Description
- Work with the team to design and plan IT system and infrastructure solutions to meet the client/project needs and requirements.
- Install, configure, and deploy hardware and software systems, including servers, workstations, networking equipment, and operating system.
- Design, implement, and manage network solutions and configurations.
- Provide training and technical support to end-user, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, if required.
- Planning and scheduling to deliver the project as per timeline.
- Provide daily IT Support to end user to resolve their IT issue such as Onboard new user to AD, setting up computer, installing of production application, connection computer to printer, link computer to File Server, etc.
- Troubleshooting of IT related issue such as outlook, unable to print, network connectivity issue, computer hardware, software, etc.
- Liaising with manufacturer for implementation and/or deployment of new technologies such as new hardware installation, new software installation, etc.
- Design, implement, and deployment of network infrastructure with includes IP Addressing, Subnet Mask, VPN, Routing, Firewall Rules, WAN, LAN, etc.
- Design, implement, and deployment of server solution with includes Active Directory, Domain Controller, DHCP, DNS, Files and Printing services, WSUS, Certificate Authority, etc.
- Coordinate with the client/project team to design and plan IT infrastructure solutions that align with the client requirements. o Evaluate the existing systems and make necessary recommendations for improvements and/or upgrade.
- Liaising with supplier/vendor for sourcing the equipment/system which suit to the requirements.
- Design, implement, and manage network configurations, including LAN, WAN, VPN, Routing, Firewall Rules, etc.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Design, and implement network solution in accordance to the requirements and/or to the industry best practices.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree/ Professional Degree in IT or Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Good knowledge of Installing, configure, and deploy hardware and software systems, including servers, networking equipment, and operating systems. Ensure proper integration of systems and components.
- Have a positive working attitude, pro-active and meticulous in his/her work
- Manage and maintain servers, including physical and/or virtual, ensuring servers’ reliability and security.
- Carry out routine server maintenance tasks, such as applying the latest security updates, patches, etc.
- Manage and maintain servers’ backup & recovery features to ensure the data is always backup and the backup image is enabled to recover the system in event of system failure.
- Windows operating system, linux, macintosh, etc.
- Able to Lead or contribute to technological projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.
- Defines project objectives, create project plans, and manage resources.
- Assess the technological projects and plan the schedule of system implementation accordingly.
- Work with stakeholders to planning for implementation schedule such as site assessment, system deployment, configuration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
- Maintenance comprehensive documentation for technological projects, including the system configuration, all the submitted reports, procedures to facilitate troubleshooting and knowledge transfer.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, either independently or in a team environment.
