MINDS has been caring for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PWIDs) and their families since 1962.
Grounded in the belief that all PWIDs have innate abilities and talents, MINDS is committed to empowering them and enhancing their quality of life, while advocating for greater inclusivity for PWIDs as a nation.
MINDS is today one of the largest charities in Singapore employing more than 850 staff. With the key focus to expand community-based services, improving the employability of PWIDS, strengthening education, and engendering inclusive community living, MINDS offers a holistic range of services and programmes across the PWIDs’ lifespan.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- To execute effective monitoring of workplans and budget while building a robust knowledge management system
- To assist in the conduct of regular horizon scanning on relevant strategic and operational matters
- To assist in collecting data points to assess the potential implications and impacts on MINDS, which are to be presented to MINDS Senior Management Team on a regular tempo, annually
- Assist in the undertaking of evidence-based trials, experiments and projects relevant and when deem necessary for strategic planning
- Assist in the conduct of strategic reviews/analysis on the effectiveness of policies and programmes for the organisation
- Assist in the organisation, collation, collection and information related to organisation development (e.g. Knowledge Management, Change Management and etc.)
- Supportive role in the formulation of workplan objectives and related outcome measurements and metrices.
- Preparation of first draft of reporting materials, e.g., FY report.
- Exposure to an SIG e.g., KM, CM, CapDev, etc. and the coordination of e.g., meetings, workshops, content, etc. (i.e., sitting in for exposure and note-taking)
- Initial exposure to an upcoming think tank project in a supportive role (when opportunity arises)
- Knowledge Management – upkeeping of shared folders
- To assist Manager in the coordination and support for strategic engagements and events
- To monitor, coordinate with departments, and prepare Dashboards for bi-monthly reporting
- To assist in the writing of first draft of Executive Summary
- To assist in the execution of MINDS’ Annual Workplan Seminar, AGM and management retreats
- To support Managers in the Board/EXCO meeting logistics
- To support the department in other processes to ensure Organisation Excellence.
- Degree holder with minimum 2 years of experience in related work (i.e. Social Work, Service Development Work, Strategic Work)
- Experience in working or volunteering in social service sector is preferred
