Primary purpose
The primary purpose of the Rigger / Signalman is to perform the role of rigger, signalman and stuffing and unstuffing of containers in order to achieve labour cost, productivity, safety and customer performance standards and revenue enhancement.

Specific Responsibilities
- Perform the role of rigger, signalman and stuffing and unstuffing of containers.
- Report and discuss any non-conformity with the superior.
- Ensure risk assessment conducted at work and all times complying to local Workplace Health, Safety and Environment regulations.
Qualifications and Experience
- With or without experience.
- Hands on, detailed-oriented, with follow up and follow through attitude.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership of work.
- Team player.
Remuneration and Benefits
- SGD $2000 to SGD $2500 depending on experience and qualifications.
- Performance based bonuses and salary revisions.
Safety Responsibilities
- Identify, assess and report all known and identified hazards and incidents in the workplace.
- Implement effective risk controls utilizing the Job Safety Analysis process.
- Participate in the monitoring, review and evaluation of implemented risk controls.
- Stop the task where there is an imminent risk beyond the acceptable tolerance of the guidelines in the risk evaluation matrix and escalate to the Stevedoring Manager as per the escalation protocols.
- Adhere to the requirements of the Safety Health & Sustainability System procedures and protocols at all times.
- Identify and escalate opportunities for improvement.
