Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Scientist with expertise in R, a strong background in medical science or the pharmaceutical industry, proficiency in GCP services related to data science (such as BigQuery), and excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English.
Responsibilities:
1.Data Analysis and Modelling:
- Utilize advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze complex datasets.
- Develop predictive models and algorithms to extract meaningful insights related to medical science or pharmaceutical research.
2.Domain Expertise:
- Apply in-depth knowledge of medical science or pharmaceutical industry processes and challenges to inform data science solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data science tasks.
3.Programming and Tools:
- Proficient in R programming language for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- oHands-on experience with GCP services, particularly BigQuery, for efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis.
4.Communication and Collaboration:
- Effectively communicate complex findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with team members to integrate data-driven solutions into existing workflows and business processes.
5.Multilingual Skills:
- Fluent in both Mandarin and English to facilitate seamless communication with global teams and stakeholders.
6.Project Management:
- Lead and contribute to data science projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Work collaboratively with project managers to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
Profile
- Bachelors in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience (X+ years) in data science roles, with a focus on medical science or the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong proficiency in the R programming language and experience with relevant data science libraries and tools.
- Hands-on experience with GCP services, particularly BigQuery, and the ability to integrate them into data science workflows.
- Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
