Job Description:
- Collaborate with vendors for material and service cost data.
- Utilize cross-disciplinary expertise to create precise cost estimates for bids and projects.
- Negotiate with vendors for cost-effective solutions and favorable terms.
- Assist in creating bid approval documents with comprehensive techno-commercial information.
- Engage with project engineers and discipline managers to understand project requirements.
- Establish and update a comprehensive cost database for multiple disciplines.
- Identify and estimate cost impacts for potential risks, integrating contingency plans.
- Support project planning and scheduling activities as directed by the Group Manager.
- Undertake additional duties assigned by the Group Manager, potentially related to project management or other areas.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or construction Management preferred for equivalent combination of education or experience.
- Ability to work well as integral part of a large Project Team that includes all Engineering disciplines.
- Ability to plan and manage multiple tasks/projects.
- Effective analytical and problem solving skills.
- Effective communications skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues and individuals both inside and outside the organization (if required)
- MS office especially MS Excel for preparing cost reports
