Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and product quality.
- Develop and implement process enhancements to optimize production workflows.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for further enhancement.
- Work closely with the quality assurance team to develop and implement measures to maintain and improve product quality.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
- Provide training and support to production personnel on new processes and equipment.
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop preventive maintenance schedules for manufacturing equipment.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years experience in manufacturing engineering with a focus on equipment and processes.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation, and equipment design.
- Experience in SAP for mainenance systems and AutoCad for Drafting & design.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
