Job description
- Manage the various functions of HR
- Manages Work-pass related matters inclusive of application/renewals, follow-up, appeals, and support on areas of regulatory/MOM reporting
- Participate in government or statutory board related surveys
- Maintain and update employees’ personal files, and ensure the employee details are accurate on the payroll system.
- Manages WICA compensation and submission of WICA reports.
- Prepare relevant reports as required by internal stakeholders, such as headcount, payroll, and employee costing allocation for different business units.
- Provide performance management guidance to managers and heads of department on concerns such as staff counselling, career development and disciplinary actions.
- Handle disciplinary issues and grievances of employees of business units to ensure issues are being resolved fairly
- Work closely with and support hiring managers to prepare and post job advertisement, screening of applications and shortlisting candidates to be interviewed
- Coordinate interview sessions and conduct interview with hiring manager
- Handle all on-boarding and off-boarding matters
- Assist performance management review process
- Coordinate in-house training programmes.
- Set objectives for HR initiatives on employee engagement
- Manages full cycle of monthly payroll which includes mid-month payroll, end month payroll and CPF submission.
- Responsible for timely payment and submission of monthly statutory withholdings such as tax, CPF, FWL waiver.
- Submission of tax clearance, yearly income tax, government paid leave, NS claims and other government claims.
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Education and Work Requirements:
- Diploma in Human Resources Management/ Business Administration or related discipline or 2 years of relevant working experience.
- Possess fundamental understanding of Employment Act, HR policies and procedures
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Possess own laptop or computer for work
- Able to work from home
- Ability to multi-task, independent, interpersonal skills, good team player, and resourceful
- Proactive, self-driven and a great team player
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- 1 year contract renewal basis
