Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Purchasing & Materials Management or relevant field.
  • Preferably at least 4 years of working experience in purchasing / procurement.
  • Preferably 2 year of hands-on experience with Dynamics Navision System.
  • A good team player with ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Possess good negotiation skills and good knowledge of construction costs and related rates.
  • Meticulous with strong analytical skills
  • Intelligent Entry Level candidates with a passion to work in construction industry are welcome

Job Description

  • Liaise with project team on material specification.
  • Material sourcing, price negotiation and order fulfilment including ISO's compliances.
  • Preparation and execution of purchase requisition.
  • Arrange timely delivery of material.
  • Manage material / inventory level at sites and ensure the target level is met but not overstock.
  • Manage the Company’s material, assets and equipment / machinery rental at sites and ensure within budget.
  • Perform cost analysis and generate reports.
  • Meet subcontractors and suppliers onsite as necessary.
  • Manage equipment and/or machinery rental.
  • Any other duties that may be assigned.
