Jobscope:
- Support for the Operational readiness of the new plant (including walkdowns & punch listing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities, preparing SOPs & routine schedules etc.).
- Provide maintenance and engineering support for field instrumentation and coordinate with control systems engineer to achieve business and operational objectives.
- To provide instrumentation expertise to sub-project teams so that all requirements related to instruments is known and implemented in a professional, compliant and efficient way
- Responsible for the maintenance and engineering of instrumentation in the plant.
- Responsible for providing cost and schedule estimates related to execution of the works assigned.
- Responsible for supporting the control Engineer for trouble shooting the plant issues.
- Responsible for supporting the EMOC process.
- Work with the Project Team to develop instruments requirements of all projects and modifications; supervise and implement the works according to the schedule and requirements.
- Must be familiar with test equipment like Multimeter, Loop calibrator, Pressure calibrator etc.,
- Able to troubleshoot the instrument loop problems.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, major in Control and Instrumentation is preferred.
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience working with various field instruments.
- Experience with Honeywell DCS, Siemens PCS7 and Triconex PLC will be an added advantage.
- 3-5 years working experience in the refinery or petrochemical industry environment.
- Good background in Safety Instrumented systems with knowledge of hazards involved in operation and maintenance of instrumentation in the ASU/Hydrogen plants.
- Experience in plant commissioning, plant revamps / projects, in TAR planning & execution.
- Familiarity with P&ID Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Electrical Single Line Diagrams, Protection relays with knowledge of electrical distribution systems.
- Basic Knowledge about different types of control valves/Field transmitters, Multimeter, Loop Calibrator, Pressure Calibrator.
- Experienced and familiar with various phases of project works such as engineering, fabrication & construction and commissioning.
- Knowledgeable in field instrument and control valve, practical experience is added advantage
