People and Culture Manager (Children Enrichment and Teaching)

Whizz Kidz Pte Ltd is currently seeking to recruit a full-time People and Culture support Administrator to work from our office, Monday to Friday, 9am-5.30pm. The role reports to our office Director. Whizzkidz primary activity is to provide after-school activities to schools across the island, as well as holiday camps, parties and workshops.


The role would suit a candidate who has experience working with children and wants to learn and develop their HR knowledge and skills within a fun and friendly office. Alternatively a candidate with great working experience will be considered.


The working environment is fast-paced, which requires the candidate to be well-organised and able to self-manage a changing workload. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent administration and communication skills and have an understanding of data protection maintaining the strictest confidence in the processing and handling of data, whilst having a proven work history in a busy office environment. Experience working with children would be highly beneficial.


Main duties will include:

  • Support recruitment and selection activities; screening incoming CV’s, shortlisting, and liaison with external recruitment agencies where necessary. Assisting the Director with interviews.
  • Supporting on-boarding activities for employees; this includes preparing new-starter paperwork, offer letters, contracts of employment and service and other required documentation
  • Maintaining HR records, including sickness and annual leave
  • Organising and running training sessions to new and existing employees as and when required
  • Support with entering employee data into the HR system
  • Recording and cross-referencing data with spreadsheets, other systems, to ensure accuracy
  • working with the Director and other team members to schedule and coordinate staff to assigned projects, sending reminders to staff and liaising with customers and delivery schedules when required
  • Preparation of data and information for payroll input
  • Assist with all general HR enquiries
  • Observe trainers and provide feedback as part of training
  • maintain good relationships with partners, customers and stakeholders

Skills and experience required:


  • Understanding of current Singapore employment law and data protection
  • Proven experience working in an HR administration environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem solving with a can do attitude
  • Time management, with ability to shift work priorities at short notice
  • IT skills with sound knowledge of google drive and HR databases/spreadsheets
  • Ability to communicate, both written and verbal
  • Happy to support colleagues as and when needed, a team player.

  • After initial settling in period the ability to work autonomously and take responsibility for the role
  • Working with children / teaching
