Pre-requisites:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering / Architectural or interior design / Lighting Design
- Previous sales experience in the Lighting Industry would be a bonus
- PC literate and proficient in MS Office and well versed in relevant software such as Autocad, Sketchup, Revit, Photoshop, Dialux Evo/ Dialux, Computer Graphics Rendering (lighting and building 3D models)
- Capable of managing multiple projects at any one time without supervision
- Ability to communicate design ideas effectively, responsible, highly organized, flexible, and a supportive team player
- Reliable, self-motivated, focused, positive attitude, proactive and solution-oriented problem solver, able to adapt to changes in priorities, structures, tasks, and goals
- Have at least 3 – 6 years of lighting design works and project management experiences
Scope:
- Work closely with clients to develop lighting design solutions for façade, interior or landscape lighting, or related lighting technology applications.
- Presentation of lighting design, produce calculations, sketches, cut sheets, renderings, shop drawings, technical specifications to illustrate conceptual ideas.
- Sourcing, managing manufacturers and suppliers, being resourceful to adapt lighting to as-built plans.
- Handling physical lighting products and evaluate performance.
- Prepare budget and power consumption estimates.
- Presentation to clients on the design.
- Project management, review suppliers/contractors proposed lighting products, fittings, and circuitry layouts.
- Take part in lighting design or relevant international competitions.
- Attend site inspections to review the quality and perform project coordination with relevant parties
- Regular and clearly define training objective and program (on the job training mainly) will be required.
- Handling photoshop, Lightroom, Dialux, Revit, Autocad, BIM.
- No matter if you are artistic or engineering person, you will have the right cross over projects to learn and grow!
- Able to do outreach and secure projects, handle projects from inception to completion.
- As lighting people, please be prepared for nightworks or over weekends.
Salary and remuneration:
- Basic SGD 2,500 to SGD 4,000 (open for negotiation for experience individual)
- Commission based on closed sales / projects handled by the team or yourself
- Basic medical and insurance coverage
- 14 days annual leave
- Possible annual bonus and after per assignment/project bonus subject to overall team and individual performance
