Job Description: Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Transport Management:
- Coordinate transportation logistics for inbound travelers, including airport transfers and tour vehicles.
- Ensure timely and efficient transportation services for clients.
2. Supplier Relations:
- Collaborate with transportation providers and suppliers to negotiate contracts and rates.
- Monitor the performance of suppliers and maintain strong relationships.
3. Inventory Control:
- Manage and maintain an inventory of vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure the availability of vehicles and resources for scheduled operations.
4. Quality Assurance:
- Oversee the quality and safety standards of transportation services.
- Implement and enforce operational protocols and safety measures.
5. Logistics Planning:
- Plan and execute logistics for tours and travel itineraries.
- Optimize routes and schedules to maximize efficiency.
6. Team Leadership:
- Supervise and lead a team of transport and logistics personnel.
- Delegate tasks, set goals, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Produce and present to Management a monthly result.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business management, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in transport and logistics management, preferably in the travel industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with local transportation regulations and safety standards.
