Overview:

Join the dynamic team as a Manager, Audit (Banking / Insurance), where you'll have the opportunity to apply your audit expertise in the financial services sector, emphasizing banking and capital markets. This role involves leading operational and financial audits, managing audit engagements, and ensuring high-quality service delivery within set timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and supervise audit engagements for financial services clients, focusing on banking and capital markets, ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
2. Manage audit portfolio engagements, including budgeting, resource allocation, billing, and progress monitoring.
3. Foster and maintain client relationships, ensuring a positive client experience on engagements.
4. Develop and mentor a professional audit team, enhancing performance through regular feedback and engagement in value-added services.
5. Stay informed about accounting trends, technical issues, and industry developments relevant to clients’ industries.
6. Identify potential industry-specific risks and compliance requirements, keeping up-to-date with auditing standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, CA (Singapore) or equivalent preferred.
• At least 5 years of audit experience. Assistant Audit Managers may also be considered.
• Experience in auditing within banking, capital markets, payments, or fintech is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of risk management, compliance, auditing standards, and accounting principles.
• Excellent project and time management skills, adaptable to changing demands.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication, able to engage effectively at all levels
