My client who is one of the largest insurance companies in Japan, with numerous offices globally, including Singapore, is looking for an IT Security Manager. As their IT Security Operations Manager, you will be leading a team in security operations activities here in Singapore.
Responsibilities
- Information security management encompasses the establishment of policies and protocols and the standardization of security specifications and criteria for information technology applications
- Oversee the development of the security framework to align with both business demands and regulatory mandates
- Offer guidance for enhancing processes, addressing control deficiencies, and improving existing tools to bolster the overall state of information security controls
- Examine reported incidents and implement a prompt response strategy and actions to mitigate the threats
- Perform security assessments and regular monitoring activities such as vulnerability and penetration testing, red team exercises, cybersecurity drills, configuration checks, and the evaluation of security defenses
- Assist in conducting audit fieldwork tasks, ensuring that relevant documents are collected, reviewed, and furnished promptly
- Assist in the due diligence process for vendors as part of third-party risk management initiatives
- Organizes synchronizes, leads, and accomplishes Information Security projects and initiatives within the business as per predefined plans and schedules
- Offer managerial reports and keep stakeholders informed about the performance of security operations and potential risks
Requirements
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or other related certifications as such CISM or CISA
- Current awareness of both existing and emerging security threats, as well as diverse security technologies
- At least 5 years of experience in IT Security or related
- Experience and knowledge in local and international standards such as MAS TRM
- Experience with managing a team of security engineers
