Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team and drive the growth of our Steam Games business. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, negotiating and closing deals, and maintaining relationships with existing partners. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Steam Games market and a track record of driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Steam Games market
- Experience in the indie game development ecosystem, able to understand the needs and wants of the game developers
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders, importantly indie game developers
- Negotiate and close deals with partners to secure distribution rights for new games and expand our catalog
- Analyze market trends and develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risks
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive user acquisition and engagement
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators, including revenue, user acquisition, and engagement metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and engineering, to ensure the success of Steam Games
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in business development, preferably in the gaming industry dealing with indie developers
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through successful partnerships and deals
- Strong understanding and experience on Steam Games market and its key players
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decision-making
- Native Chinese speaking candidates will be prioritized as target market is Chinese speaking.
