Candidate would be required to work in concert with the whole IT/ICS infrastructure and application teams to administer, maintain and enhance Network infrastructure to ensure business continuity in both the stores and HQ offices.
Daily operational duties include
- Monitor and Maintenance of Courts HQ and accompanying stores network connectivity
- Analyze network traffic patterns to optimise performance
- Execute backup and disaster recovery plans when circumstances call for
- Managing network devices such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, load balancers etc
- Install and configure and upkeep network software and hardware
- Analyze network logs and packet captures to identify problems
- Assist in VAPT compliance fixes and verification
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related.
- Certifications: Relevant Certifications would be helpful including
a. Cisco Certified Network Associate CCNA
b. Cisco Certified Network Professional CCNP
- Technologies: Familiarity and understanding of the following concepts and technological standards
a. TCP/IP protocol and Subnets
b. Routing and Switching
c. VLANs and LAN/WAN config
d. Network security principles and best practices
e. Quality of Service (QoS)
f. Network monitoring and management tools
g. Hybrid Enterprise Network Architecture (On-Prem + Cloud)
- Network Devices: Experience and proficiency in configuring and managing network hardware/devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, access points
- Systems: Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Virtualisation for network services integration. Familiarity with Cloud provider management consoles such as Azure Portal, Linode Glish, or AWS Elastic Beanstalk would be a bonus.
- Security: Understanding of network security practices/policies in Firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption protocols
- Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in resolving network issues
- Others: Project Management during implementation, documentation of network configurations, and vendor management
- Communication: In situations where end-user interactions are needed, good communication skills can be valuable.
