Job Summary

The Product Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of fresh, innovative consumer card products. This role demands a keen focus on customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape to deliver innovative banking solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development and Management:

  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of fresh consumer banking products from concept to launch.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including technology, marketing, sales, and operations, to develop and implement new products and features.
  • Execute product strategies that align with company’s vision and objectives.
  • Prepare and manage product roadmaps, timelines, budgets.
  • Ensure products comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

2. Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential opportunities for innovation in the consumer banking sector.
  • Analyze competitive landscape to benchmark and position our products effectively.

3. Customer Experience and Innovation:

  • Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging creative thinking and new ideas.
  • Leverage technology and data analytics to improve customer experience and product offerings.

4. Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Ensure all products adhere to legal, regulatory, and compliance frameworks.
  • Monitor and manage risks associated with product development and implementation.

5. Demand and cost management:

  • Deep dive into areas which are drivers of high employee operational toil and propose mitigating strategies to alleviate ops demand.
  • Track cost components relating to card issuance/usage and explore opportunities for strategic cost management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant product management experience
  • Experience in identifying trends, opportunities and customer needs to run experiments to drive product take-up
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external partners on joint awareness and engagement campaigns
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a complex multiple stakeholders’ organization
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to collect and analyze data and make recommendations or decisions using data
  • Strong in numbers and financials, able to present and articulate sales performance and plans in meetings internally/externally
  • Able to work in a fast-paced business environment.
