The incumbent will be responsible for all contract administration work (preparation of contract documents, specifications, progress payment, costs and claims management, etc.) related to government project in Singapore (hereinafter called Project).
Job responsibilities
- Interface with all internal relevant parties including MHI in Japan.
- Responsible for leading and finalization of business correspondence with Customer and partner such as payment claim, VO claim, EOT claim and tender proposal.
- Responsible main contact person, to ensure the smooth delivery of the Project, manage procurement of bonds &/or insurance; negotiation and meetings with partners / Customer to finalize the requirements of equipment / valuation order, finalize with partner on issues relating to percentage of share for each Purchase Order, etc.
- To act as a legal together with MHI-AP legal team to check & verify the terms of contract agreement before submission of correspondences with Customer and partner.
- To manage the shipment of equipment with the support from material controller
Job requirement
- Diploma, high school graduate related to business and administration
- Minimum 15 years of experience in logistics, procurement, and sales in infrastructure manufacturing company
- Minimum 1 years of experience in ITS related products such as ERP and EPS
- Japanese Language proficiency of JLPT N1 or equivalent is mandatory as this role requires the incumbent to communicate with Japanese internal counterparts and external suppliers on a daily basis.
- Microsoft Office Skill (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Related experience and knowledge in construction of Transport related product.
