Job Description

Trainees (classroom) management

  • Train, coach and assess trainees
  • Assist in training packages (lesson plan, assignments, and presentation slides with resources, assessment plans and trainer guide) for each project in contract work programme based on requirement and Progress Reports
  • Plan, monitor and review trainees’ performance using SWPs (Standard Work Performance), Individual Training Plan (ITP) and internal assessment
  • Meet production deadlines
  • Provide training/supervision and guidance to Persons with Intellectual Disabilities
  • Support in gross and fine motor training when required
  • Provide performance updates to caregiver when required

Projects Management and Logistical support

  • Support supervising instructor to establish programs and secure sustainable work opportunities for trainees.
  • Provide logistical support for centre activities, excursions, and events, ensuring their smooth execution.
  • Develop and maintain robust systems for managing internal inventory and resources.

Discipline and Performance Management

  • Assist the supervising instructor in planning, implementing, and enforcing discipline control and interventions for the trainees
  • Maintain accurate intervention, communication and disciplinary records and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Administrative responsibilities

  • Ensure adequate inventory levels and proper management of department resources.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to stakeholders.
  • Manage vehicle logs and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Record trainee’s attendance and training fee, assess trainee’s assessments, liaising with suppliers/vendors/customers
  • Plan and deployment for CSR/VIA/volunteering for any assigned events/ programmes/ initiatives

Financial Responsibilities

  • Ensure that projects/systems and processes are recovered with minimum down-time.
  • Ensure that projects are managed within the given budgets and timeline.
  • Utilize TenderBoard system where necessary.
  • Support financial planning and forecasting activities.
  • Contribute to financial sustainability by managing operational costs and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

  • Higher NITEC/ Diploma/ Degree in any discipline
  • Possess 2 to 3 years of related work experience
  • Possess good communication skills
  • Able to interact well with people with special needs and their caregivers
