Assessment and Diagnosis
- Conduct thorough physical assessments to evaluate customers' range of motion, strength, posture, balance, and functional abilities
- Analyze customers' medical histories and diagnostic test results to identify underlying causes of physical issues
- Diagnose and classify physical conditions, injuries, and disabilities, and develop treatment plans based on assessment findings
Treatment Planning and Implementation
- Design individualized treatment programs that include exercises, manual therapies, electrotherapy, and other appropriate interventions
- Educate customers about their conditions, treatment goals, and home exercise regimens to encourage active participation in their recovery
- Administer hands-on techniques, such as massage, joint mobilization, and manipulation, to alleviate pain and improve mobility
- Use specialized equipment and modalities to provide therapeutic interventions, such as ultrasound, heat, cold, and electrical stimulation
Progress Monitoring and Adjustment
- Regularly assess customers' progress and modify treatment plans accordingly to achieve desired outcomes
- Document customer responses, treatment efficacy, and any changes in conditions to maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
Customer Education and Prevention
- Educate customers on proper body mechanics, posture, and ergonomics to prevent future injuries and maintain physical well-being
- Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications, exercises, and strategies to enhance overall health and prevent recurrence of issues
Research and Professional Development
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in physiotherapy techniques, technologies, and research to provide evidence-based care
- Attend conferences, workshops, and training sessions to continuously improve skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform hands-on techniques
- Compassion, patience, and empathy in dealing with customers
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and organized patient records
