QUALITY & ISO COORDINATOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Plans, promotes and organizes training activities related to product quality and ISO-related activities
- Supports and investigates customer complaints regarding the quality and suggests adjustments accordingly
- Assists in the development of standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation
- Assists in the development of procedures, forms, and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality and reliability data.
- Compiles and writes training material on quality assurance activities
- Assists in the certification process for ISO 9001
- Assists in the development of certification process for ISO 14100
- Assists in the development of certification process for ISO 34700 – Chapter 7.2
- Assists in the development of certification process for ISO 37100
- Coordinate and schedule internal and external audits
- Other duties as assigned – may include additional certifications.
- Organizes and chairs meetings such as Management Review meeting and Steering Committee meeting prior to ISO audit
- Assists in the development and analysis of statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product
- Coordinate and manage all external ISO audits
- ISO Documentation (Document Controller/Internal Auditor)
- Conduct employee ISO training
- Other responsibilities related to ISO system
- Assisting in immediate root cause analysis to avoid future and reoccurring non-conformances
- Coordination of corrective action including data follow up
- Document Control for all business related documentation to comply with external and internal standards
QUALIFICATION
- Certifications for ISO 9001, ISO14100 audit
- Able to review and prepare manual for ISO 9001, ISO 14100, ISO 37100 and ISO 34700 Chapter 7.2
- Direct experience planning or managing audits
- Knowledge of additional ISO or other common industry certifications is a plus
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in ISO manual preparation and audit
- Exemplary written and verbal communication is essential
- Leadership and teamwork skills are paramount to success in this position
