Let’s talk about what you will be doing as an Event Manager

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of events, including corporate conferences, product launches, gala dinners, seminars, and more
  • Participate in developing integrated ideas and solutions based on the client’s requirements
  • Manage all aspects of event planning, including budgeting, venue selection, vendor management, logistics, and on-site coordination
  • Oversee event timelines and ensure that all deliverables are met according to project plans
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless event execution
  • Anticipate potential challenges and provide effective solutions to ensure the success of each event.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to bring fresh ideas and creative concepts to each event
  • Ensure regular team meetings and manage communications between team members, ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Coach and oversee junior team members on the execution of all individual job details
  • Develop and actively manage vendor relationships to ensure the best available talent and pricing.

If you can do all that, you have what it takes. It might also help if...

  • Relevant qualifications in marketing, business, hospitality, or related fields and/or over four years of experience creating and organising events
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, team members, and stakeholders
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in fast-paced environments
  • Interest and experience in various areas: Consumer Engagement, Activation, Meetings and Events
