Role : Application Consultant/Developer
Key Job Duties:
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialised utility programs.
- Analyse user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
- Update software, enhances existing software capabilities, and develops and direct software testing and validation procedures.
- Overall 06+ years IT experience is required.
- Must have recent hands-on App Database experience (Tomcat, Jboss,Maria DB) for at least 4+ years
- Experience in Administration and Maintaining Application/Middleware <Tomcat, Jboss, IIS>/Database functionality (2+ years recent).
- Ability to provide support Java applications hosted servers- Hands-on experience is required.
- Working experience in banking and finance or insurance domain is must (2+ years).
- Strong Database Administration Knowledge on Oracle, SQL and Maria DB.
- Strong scripting knowledge for automation (ex: PowerShell).
- Good knowledge on Unix and Windows Operating systems.
- Analytical skill to Optimize, troubleshoot, capacity planning, performance tuning and database sizing.
- Provide Environment support for Dev,SIT,UAT,NFT digital envs and ensure env's are up 98% of the time.
- Understand and resolve issues caused by digital application inter dependencies
- Automate Environment and application health checks with real time monitoring
