Responsibilities
- Provide first line of Technology support for in-house Trading Systems and Risk Management applications.
- Monitor production channels for issues and problems, then participate in coordinating a fix.
- Responsible for making sure Technology issues are fixed satisfactorily, incident analysis(RCA) is initiated, and appropriate remedial action is discussed with the Team Lead during shift hours.
- Oversee handover of issues to team member who is next on support roster and escalate to Team Lead before end of shift for any time-sensitive matters.
Experience, Requirements & Skills
- Current experience in a similar role for at least 3-4 years and a team size of 2-5 people is very important.
- Experience with any Trading or Order Management System from Vendor perspective is desirable.
- Experience with an inhouse or vendor-based Risk Management System will be a plus.
- Experience using/building production monitoring dashboards built using Prometheus, Grafana is necessary.
- Some Power Shell-scripting or coding experience is a useful skill for handling ad-hoc scripting or runbook generation work.
- Effective management and organization skills, meticulous and detail-oriented, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to adjust the priority of according to production demands is important.
Good-to-have:
- Some understanding of different asset classes and the associated instrument types in FX/Rates/Equity asset classes.
