Client Engagement Director

The Client Engagement Director serves as the lead of two or more client businesses on behalf of the agency. He or she is the most accountable strategic lead on the alignment team, responsible for all aspects of business management, including overall business growth, casting and team development (with a concentration on the Client Engagement team), and leading engagement with senior-level clients on key accounts. The person in this role works with internal teams across disciplines to develop, craft and refine strategies to achieve client goals and execution of strategies and is responsible for ensuring that the agency’s reputation and position is maintained across key clients.

It is the responsibility of the Client Engagement Director to ensure that teams deliver Marketing Excellence, demonstrate Ownership, provide solutions grounded in Intelligence, and drive Innovative thinking and solutions. The successful candidate must be team-oriented and possess excellent leadership, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.

The Client Engagement Director also sets the vision for all partnerships and ensures seamless delivery across the account teams he/ she leads. He/ she is responsible for overall profitability for the businesses he/ she leads. The candidate must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be comfortable making decisions.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leads, and collaborates with, account team, shows leadership in setting the vision, & defining engagement plan for the key clients they own
  2. Sets and achieves profitability goals that are on par with agency benchmarks
  3. Manages and approves all investments to ensure a strategic focus and pay back
  4. Develops and maintains the most senior level relationships within a given client organization
  5. Focus is on building depth and breadth of relationships with key clients and harvesting new business opportunities
  6. Establishes and maintains team culture
  7. Other duties as the Company may reasonably specify from time to time
