Job Responsibilities:
Working with the Splunk platform to analyze and manage data for an organization.
Key responsibilities and tasks associated with the role:
- Data Ingestion: Collect and manage data from various sources.
- Data Parsing: Normalize, parse, and structure data for analysis.
- Search and Query: Use Splunk's SPL to analyze data effectively.
- Visualization: Create dashboards and reports for data visualization.
- Alerts and Notifications: Set up alerts for critical events.
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve data-related issues.
- Security Monitoring: Detect and investigate security threats.
- Compliance: Assist with compliance reporting and audits.
- Documentation: Maintain records of configurations and processes.
- Communication: Collaborate with teams and present findings.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on Splunk and industry trends.
Job Requirements:
- At least a Diploma or Degree in relevant discipline
- Preferably possess fundamental knowledge of Splunk
- Experience in Search Processing Language (SPL), Data Sources and Parsing, Data Visualization, Security Concepts (if security-focused), Regular Expressions (Regex)
- Experience in Alerting and Notifications, Data Modeling, Data Transformation, Automation and Scripting, Capacity Planning
- Preferably to have knowledge in Compliance and Regulatory Requirements
- Extensive knowledge in IT Operations and Troubleshooting, Communication and Documentation
- Willingness to grow with the team and holds a positive learning attitude
