Purpose
1. The HR Head of Business Partner is to provide leadership for the HR business partner operations for Administration staff. This involves formulating HR strategies, plans and initiatives so as to achieve strong Employee Value Proposition and a strong culture of engaged and committed workforce who is proud of the Hospital.
2. This role is required to work in close partnership with stakeholders – senior management, line managers, union and staff on strategic staffing plans, staff management and development, compensation, labour relations and other human resource-related issues, and seek to develop integrated solutions.
3. In addition, this role is required to act as employee champion and change agent in the delivery of key HR initiatives.
Scope
§ Work with business units and employees in providing value-adding advice, support and service to attract, retain, train, develop, reward, care and engage our talents
§ Administer and execute HR functions and processes under his / her charge, e.g. recruitment, orientation, benefits, compensation, awards, communication, industrial relations, staff wellness, scholarships / sponsorships, etc.
§ Serve as an effective and neutral channel for employee feedback through regular walkabouts and dialogue sessions with employees so as to build an open and trusting culture
§ Plan, attend and follow-up for scholarships / sponsorship events to ensure there is a strong pipeline of allied health talents
§ Engage with the sponsored students through various channels
§ Participate and support in projects and events, as and when assigned or appointed
§ Support, promote and participate in events and innovation initiatives, including wellness, work-life balance, charity activities, staff suggestion and process / work improvement review projects
§ Undertake any other projects as assigned
The Requirements
§ Bachelor degree from a recognized university, post-graduate qualification in HRM will be an advantage
§ Minimum 10 years in Human Resource function with at least 3 years in a leadership role in a big organisation is preferred
§ Positive work attitude and good analytical skills
§ Organised, meticulous, pro-active, bold, sense of urgency
§ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
§ Results, customer as well as people oriented
§ Strong passion and drive
