Our client is an Educational Industry. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Corporate Secretary to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located in the Central.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements/tasks for the School and any related entities.
- Closely monitor deadlines and prepare necessary documents to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations.
- Responsible for the preparation of statutory and corporate meetings, maintaining accurate attendance and records of proceedings (e.g., statutory registers, minute books, and corporate secretarial documents) as well as follow-up actions.
- Assist in onboarding new directors, ensuring compliance with the onboarding process.
- Manage Conflict of Interest (COI) declarations for directors and the CEO, maintain the COI register, and conduct necessary follow-ups.
- Research, data collection and review Terms of Reference.
- Responsible for the renewal of School’s/entity’s operating license.
- Provide secretarial support and liaise with other relevant departments or external parties on corporate secretariat and board-related matters.
- Any other corporate secretarial, administrative or ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Business Administration/Business Management or professional certificate in Chartered Secretary.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in corporate secretarial support
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
- Self-motivated and proactive; able to work independently and meticulously
