As a Dance Teacher, you are required to:
- Prepare interesting resources for the classroom
- Identify student’sneedsand work to help each child develop his or her own potential.
- Participate in any Dancepointe Academy events such as
- Concerts and public performances
- Conduct parent-teacher interviews /open house twice yearly
- Prepare the Dancepointe Progress Report twice yearly
- Attend professional development sessions to improve his/her teaching methods and maintain curriculum currency.
- Present a professional image in dressing and personality at all times
Requirements For Classical Ballet Teacher (Singapore & China Posting)
- Min RAD/ CSTD Advanced Certificate of Achievement or Dance Diploma
- For China posting , accommodation and 2 return air tickets are provided per year
- With teaching experiences preferred
- Possess a RAD/CSTD Teaching Certificate will be an added advantage
- Should be self-motivated, independent and equipped with good interpersonal and communication skills
Requirements For Jazz, Tap or Contemporary Teacher
- Min Dance Diploma
- With teaching experiences and Classical Ballet dance background preferred
- Possess a ATOD/ CSTD/ ISTD Teaching Certificate will be an added advantage
- Should be self-motivated, independent and equipped with good interpersonal and communication skills
Requirements For Hip Hop Teacher
- Min 3 years of teaching experiences
- Possess dance achievements and certifications on the dance genre from good established dance schools
- Must be up to date to the current dance trends
- Should be self-motivated, independent and equipped with good interpersonal and communication skills
