Head, Corporate Communications
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Creating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, employees, media outlets, and industry influencers.
- Crafting and editing compelling content for various communication channels, such as press releases, speeches, articles, and social media posts.
- Monitoring and analyzing communication efforts to measure their effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Managing crisis communication situations, including developing response plans, and coordinating messaging across different platforms.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as, Group Corporate Communications, Human Resources, and Group Marketing, to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
- Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in communication strategies, tools, and technologies.
KEY SKILLS, COMPETENCIES & BEHAVIOURS
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
- Proficiency in using various communication tools and platforms, including social media management systems, content management systems, and media monitoring tools.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Crisis communication experience and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
