Responsibilities:
- Provide casework and counselling services to children with cancer and their families or children impacted by parents’ cancer illness and/or death.
- Offer intake assessment and referral services for children impacted by cancer.
- Establish a service network in the community to support children impacted by cancer.
- Collaborate with other professionals from various disciplines to ensure holistic assessment and intervention for the children and their families.
- Develop programs and resources for the children and their families.
Requirements:
- Degree/Master's in Social Work or Counselling.
- Preferably trained in grief or trauma work practices.
- At least 5 years of direct social work practice, with a preference for experience working with children and teens.
- Possess strong team management and interpersonal skills.
- Capable of performing social work administrative functions.
