Business Development Manager

Position Overview:

As the BD for Singapore market, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence and driving the adoption of our EV charging solutions across the country. You will identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, build a robust pipeline of potential clients, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.


Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy tailored to Singapore EV charging market.

2. Identify and engage potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to establish strong relationships and drive collaboration opportunities.

3. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and revenue projections.

4. Conduct market research to identify key trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences to inform strategic decision-making.

5. Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and technical teams to align product offerings with market needs and customer feedback.

6. Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential clients, ensuring terms align with company objectives and policies.

7. Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to educate clients about our EV charging solutions, benefits, and value proposition.

8. Monitor industry developments, regulations, and incentives related to EV charging in Singapore, adapting strategies as needed.

9. Travel as required to attend industry events, trade shows, client meetings, and partnership discussions.


Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or relevant postgraduate degree is a plus.

2. Proven track record in business development and sales within Singapore market, preferably in the EV, clean energy, or technology sectors.

3. Strong understanding of the EV market dynamics, charging infrastructure, and related technologies.

4. Excellent networking and relationship-building skills with a demonstrated ability to establish rapport with stakeholders at all levels.

5. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

6. Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.

7. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

8. Willingness to travel as required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.

9. Familiarity with CRM tools and sales tracking software.

10. Passion for sustainability and clean transportation solutions.
