The Incident Management Analyst is responsible for triage and quality assurance for the client’s programs. The Analyst will primarily operate the internal product which allows the company’s employees and product users to share their impact status. The analyst is required to proactively monitor global events, gather, and disseminate information, assess the incident based on the client’s Standard Operating Procedures using open source intelligence and internal tools. The analyst is required to operate in uncharted areas of operations. Special initiatives, ad-hoc projects and other duties may be assigned as needed. The business requires the analyst to perform shift work of staggered hours from Monday to Sunday. This may change from time to time, in accordance with the operational needs and business continuity.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitor open-source platforms and analyse global events and its impact to the client’s assets.
- Monitor for threats against the client’s employees and user’s using open-source tools.
- Conduct damage assessments on both natural and man-made disasters.
- Communicate with internal company partners to share information on mass notification and program activations.
- Create operational reports for stakeholders
- Develop forecast reports on global physical risks.
- Escalate potential malicious activity on internal and external facing company platforms
Desired Qualifications and Certifications:
- Strong analytical, open-source research, critical thinking, problem solving, time management skills with the ability to write clear, concise reports.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to work in a team and individual environment by balancing multiple competing priorities.
- Think through problems for logical solutions while remaining calm and professional during a fast-paced, high stress situation.
- Comfortable taking actions with only 80% of the information or less and owning the decision.
- Be comfortable with viewing graphic images/videos.
- Self-motivated with limited guidance.
- Highly recommend for meteorologists and geologists to apply.
- 2+ years’ experience with customer service background in a fast-paced environment.
- White-glove customer service skills – go above and beyond for the customer.
- Statistical/data analysis skill sets.
- Geospatial analysis skillsets preferred (e.g., ArcGIS)
