- To carry out the entire set of procurement procedures, including purchase requisitions, quotes, purchase orders, and product delivery in compliance with purchasing guidelines.
- Work out a good price and establish a cooperative rapport with the suppliers.
- Manage the provision of freshwater and food to ships.
- Track the status of deliveries and expedite orders.
- Set up stock taking and inventory control for all delivered and supplied goods.
- Keep in touch with the vessels and superintendents regarding requisition-related issues.
- Closely collaborate with the company's shipping division and PIC launch.
- Any additional ad hoc tasks that the purchasing manager assigns.
