Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following experience, knowledge and skills:
- 5 years’ experience in IT project or product management, preferably Business Analyst background in Insurance or banking industry
- Experience in managing Web and Mobile applications
- Excellent stakeholder management (internal teams, business, technology partners etc) skills at all levels
- Basic knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), Databases and Middleware such as Oracle DB, API Gateway, AWS cloud
- Degree in computer science or equivalent relevant IT experience
- Preferred Professional Certifications e.g. Project Management (Prince2 or PMP), Product Management, Agile
Job description
The successful applicant will:
- Ensure that project deliverables are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Assist in the definition of scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
- Manage changes to the scope, project schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Manage the relationship with the project team and all stakeholders
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Coordinate approval process and ensure adherence to IT procurement policy
- Advise management on improving and carrying out IT security policies in line with MAS regulations
- Support annual IT audit and timely closure of any findings
- Support the applications operation issues
- Support any other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Head of IT
- Escalate IT issues and matters to Head of IT.
