Accountant

Dover Court International School (pte.) Ltd.

The General Accountant will manage with accuracy our general ledger to ensure the utmost precision in our financial records. As a senior member of the Finance team, you will provide your colleagues with support and your expertise. They will work closely with the Finance Director in the overall management of administrative, analysis, organizational and implementation duties.


This position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential functions:


Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily accounting and finance for full set of accounts

• Plan and manage the monthly closing process and ensure timely closing, review journals, schedules, and other related documents

• Issue timely and complete period reporting and KPI’s to Finance Director and Group

• Prepare monthly Capex and Cash Flow reports, other adhoc or temporary reports as required

• Coordinate financial audits and ensure corporate governance and compliance with regulatory standards and requirements including preparation of annual financial statement

• Oversee tax submissions such as GST and WHT

• Support Income Tax matter in conjunction with external tax agent

• Support preparation of budget and forecast during the year

• Provide support to AP/AR finance team

• Provide technical support to all finance functions on accounting, tax and other matters


Education and Experience:

• Degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA or equivalent is beneficial

• At least 4 years of relevant working experience in Finance and Accounting Function

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, experience in Navision and OneStream would be an advantage

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills including time management and prioritization

• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset

• Experience working in a diverse environment
