Fibronostics is a healthcare technology company providing algorithm-based solutions in a variety of diagnostic testing areas, focusing on assessing liver disease existence/progression, but also other chronic areas such as coronary heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and obstructive sleep apnea.
Fibronostics' LIVERFASt products provide early detection and monitoring for patients with NAFLD & NASH when a diagnosis is often missed due to limited screening with low-sensitivity tools. The current standard for diagnosis is risky and costly with mounting evidence calling for an efficacious and cost-effective non-invasive diagnostic tool.
Fibronostics' HealthFACTR tool employes technology to predict risk, providing results for risks of coronary heart disease, stroke, diabetes and fatty liver disease. HealthFACTR enables action-oriented recommendations which allow healthcare professions to determine patients' risk levels and drive better patient care.
The role of Senior/Lead Front End Developer at Fibronostics
What you’ll be doing:
- Writing outstanding and secure code that follows best practice
- Actively participate in the SDLC for the entire application, stack from conception to deployment
- Working with the Platform team, and vendors where needed, to drive high quality application development
- Support troubleshooting and implementation of solutions for any issues identified during QA and production use
- Contribute to the continuing maturing of the software development process, advising and driving best practice
- Help identify opportunities by understanding the current and future requirements of the internal and external users
- Help estimate resource requirements and evaluate prioritization metrics for projects according to the Business priorities
What we’re looking for in you
- More than 5+ years’ hands on experience in React and related front-end technologies
- Experience working with Node, Typescript and NextJS
- Seasoned and current with CSS, HTML, and design systems, with both skill and passion for translating designs into high-quality user experiences
- Experience developing responsive user interfaces
- Familiar with cloud-native system design and modern authorization/authentication mechanisms, to be able to troubleshoot independently and advise on best practices
- Passionate about good engineering practices and processes – from code quality, productivity, and performance optimization, to automated testing and continuous integration/delivery
- Experience working with MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- Experience developing in a Azure cloud environment, utilizing the latest cloud technologies for both application development as well as execution
- Good to have experience working with spring boot and spring cloud
- Good to have experience using Jms and active queues as Azure Service Bus, Artemis or RabbitMQ
- Good to have a broad set of technology skills in Java technologies, micro service design patterns, libraries and frameworks, and technology architecture concepts
- In depth understanding of SDLC and agile methodology, having led or participated in sprint based work
- Proficient in source code versioning tools such as GitHub and CI/CD DevOps process
- Experience in the use of Jira for work planning
