Adjunct Trainer, Hospitality and Tourism

We are currently seeking dedicated adjunct trainers to join our renowned international hotel and tourism school in Singapore. As an adjunct trainer at SHATEC, you will be responsible for delivering and facilitating engaging learning experiences for our students. This position typically operates on a contract basis, allowing you to contribute your expertise and industry knowledge to the classroom.


As part of your role, you will collaborate closely with other trainers and academic staff to deliver training sessions using effective teaching methods, up-to-date course materials, and well-structured lesson plans. In addition to instructional duties, adjunct trainers also provide guidance, mentorship, and career advice to students, fostering a positive learning environment and encouraging desirable attitudes and behaviours. Your contribution in imparting both technical skills and essential soft skills, such as communication, plays a crucial role in preparing students for the demands and challenges of our industry.

  • Digital & Social Media Marketing
  • Digital Entrepreneurship
  • Sustainable Gastronomy
  • Research Methods and Data Analytics
  • Information Technology and Sustainable Artificial Intelligence
  • Cross-cultural Communication for Service Excellence
  • Human Resource and Lean Management
  • Sustainable Tourism
  • Beverage Knowledge
  • Food & Beverage Management
  • Food & Beverage Practical Skills
  • Related Continuing Education and Training (CET) Short Courses


Minimum Qualification and Work Experience Required:

  • Degree holder from a recognised educational institution along with at least 3-5 years related industry experience at a supervisory/managerial level. ACTA/ACLP or DACE is a pre-requisite.
  • Excellent command of English and a team player who is able to to collaborate with all stakeholders as a team player
  • Proficiency in utilizing essential computer software applications for effective course delivery, such as PowerPoint, Word, Excel and related Education Technology tool.
  • Show a genuine passion for nurturing learners throughout their learning journey.
