You will be joining a large technology team for an established financial institution to lead / head Big Data delivery team for the region.
Responsibilities:
- Providing overall technical leaderhip and managing overall delivery of team size of 25 members
- Engineering Big Data solution department and also leading analytics development team
- Implement data platform architecture including big data, NoSQL, steaming and AI applications for providing data services to other banking systems and business users.
- Leading delivery tem to perform system analysis, design, development and maintenance for data platforms and applications
- Reviewing and recommending new technology in big data and analytics space
- Establish framework, development standard, enterprise data model and incorporate DEVOPS tools and methodology for data platforms.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines.
- At least 12 years of application development experience, with min 5 years in managing / leading enterprise data warehouse and big data / AI projects with sound project management experience
- Proficient skills with data warehouse technologies, such as SQL, DB2, DataStage ETL , data reporting and visualization tool (e.g. Tableau ).
- Knowledgeable in big data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka Streaming and NoSQL (such as MongoDB and Neo4J)
- Having knowledge in the following is a PLUS: Java, python, K8s, docker, Mircoservices, Distributed computing concepts
- Self-motivated, open mindsets, good problem solving and troubleshooting skills, good inter-personal and communication skills, team building and problem-solving skills.
