Role (Summary)
Responsible primarily for Sales in Singapore.
1. This involves PROSPECTING and CONVERTING customers, NEGOTIATING CONTRACTS and DEVELOPING LONG-TERM RELATIONSHIPS with the customer. Success metrics can include Customer Satisfaction, Total Sales and Gross Margin within the current financial year.
Job Responsibilities
· Engage and develop relationships with new leads and existing customers by understanding their business model, activities, needs and requirements
· Create sales opportunities by proposing products and solutions to customers, including introducing new products and businesses
· Drive customer satisfaction, in conjunction with other departments, by ensuring on-time delivery of products and solutions and following up post-sales
· Achieve sales targets and ensure sustainable margin (for the benefit of the organization)
· Prepare technical proposals for client engineering team
· Collaborate with Product Principals for technical training and issue resolution
· Preparation of internal sales reports
· Collaborate with Technical team to provide on-site assistance to customers
· Support overseas affiliates by ensuring that commercial & technical terms are followed as per commercial contracts
Requirement :
· At least 3 years of experience with factory automation and engineering industry
· Strong understanding of business: able to relate to users' pain points and to propose solutions
· Bilingual in English and Mandarin/Bahasa (Written & Spoken)
Preference :
· Prior experience with machine vision, Auto-ID or Microscopy products an added advantage
· Effective communication and people skills
· Excellent troubleshooting skills
· Personal Transportation e.g. Car
Qualification
· Minimum NITEC in Electrical / Electronics / Automation / Optics or related engineering fields
