As a Senior Superintendent II, QC Operations supporting QC Operations Department, you will be trusted to work on being responsible in overseeing the Quality Control (QC) program. Develop, implement, and maintain robust QC quality management system in compliance to Health Authorities and Alcon requirements at Tuas. In this role, a typical day will include:
Collaboration with AS&T:
- Review and approve analytical method validation, instrument qualification, and re-qualification etc.
- Ensure QC validations performed are compliant to local SOP, Alcon CORP, FDA, ISO, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure CSV activities are carried out as planned, include user access review and audit trail review.
- Participate in AS&T global community discussion.
- Drive efficient QC processes by enhancing capability (system, processes, methods).
QC Support
- Responsible in QC budget phasing and forecast accuracy tracking.
- Responsible in managing and maintaining calibration/preventive maintenance schedule. Review and approve equipment records.
- Responsible in SAP processes and operations.
- Responsible in managing and maintaining lab supplies and ensure no shortage of supplies.
- Responsible for sourcing new/alternative parts/consumables/external lab for business continuity.
- Responsible in Stability Management Program. Review and approve stability records.
- Responsible in Validation Test Schedule and adherence to turnaround time.
- Responsible in QC training plans and qualification.
- Conduct/lead lab investigation as a certified investigator or approver, identify root cause and determine appropriate CAPA.
- Provide prompt technical support for equipment breakdown troubleshooting and diagnostic recovery.
- Oversee Lab continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Monitor the effectiveness of improvements and changes made to QC activities and workflows.
- Conduct self-assessment as Lab internal auditor to ensure lab audit readiness. Identify quality gaps/risk identification mitigation, QC data integrity plan, Business Continuity Plan.
- Support internal and external audits and is responsible for audit finding closure, as required.

Requirement:
- 5-7 years in QC experiences and min 2 years of supervisory role
- Min degree in any chemical related studies
