Assistant Manager, Transformation & Innovation

AM manages activities under T&I, under the leadership of the Dir, T&I. The AM supervises a team and manages projects under the Transformation & Innovation unit. The AM will also provide support to the overall SIO and contribute to the department’s strategies and plans. The AM will be responsible for preparation and submission of annual work plan consisting of capital and operational budget for the unit and will need to ensure alignment of the plan/budget across SIO. The AM will also oversee the engagement of the inter-domain collaborations for various T&I projects.

Job Duties:

  • Perform and apply project management skills/tools for the digital initiatives by collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful launch and adoption of small scale projects e.g. pilot and proof of concept.
  • Engage with various departments’ requests for digitizing/automating existing process by assisting departments to map out and streamline existing processes
  • Propose and organize new submissions of T&I projects at regular meetings for endorsement by Director
  • Review of the meeting minutes for documentation.
  • Manage, track, analyze and report on monthly performance indicators to senior management and key stakeholders, including presenting updates on various meeting platforms.
  • Work closely with other relevant stakeholders e.g Synapse to ensure smooth transition from pilot to production.
  • Supervise and mentor team to ensure timely completion of projects.

Requirements

  • Degree holder with 5 years relevant working experience in IT projects.
  • Experience in healthcare information system and/or supervisory is advantageous
  • Experience in developing systems or IT frameworks using the SLDC lifecycle is a must
  • Excellent IT skills and able to perform basic data analytics with MS Excel to develop graphs and visualization.
  • Able to work independently, proactive, adaptable and works well under pressure
  • Positive individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy collaborating on inter-department initiatives.
