Finance Assistant

P3 Project Pte. Ltd.

A finance assistant provides support to the finance department by assisting with various accounting, bookkeeping, reporting, and analysis tasks. Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.


Job Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping and Data Entry:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Enter financial transactions into accounting software or spreadsheets.

Update and reconcile sub-ledger to the general ledger.

Invoice Processing:

Generate and process invoices.

Verify the accuracy of invoices and resolve any discrepancies.

Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices.

Expense Management:

Process employee expenses and ensure compliance with company policies.

Reconcile corporate credit card statements.

Track and analyse expenses for budgeting purposes.

Bank Reconciliation:

Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.

Monitor and analyse cash flow.

Payroll Support:

Assist with payroll processing.

Ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages.

Address payroll-related inquiries from employees.

Compliance and Regulations:

Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations.

Assist in the preparation of tax returns.

Vendor Management:

Communicate with vendors regarding payment and invoicing issues.

Maintain good relationships with key vendors.

Administrative Tasks:

Provide administrative support to the finance team.

Organize and maintain financial records and documents.

Handle general inquiries related to finance.

Software Proficiency:

Utilize accounting and Microsoft software and tools effectively.

Stay updated on new features.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for process improvements.

Recommend and implement efficiency enhancements.

Communication:

Collaborate with other departments and teams.

Professional Development:

Stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Participate in relevant training and development opportunities.


Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Accounting & finance

• Fresh graduate or 2 years of related industry experience

• Multitasking and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency with accounting/bookkeeping software like QuickBooks
