Job responsibilities:
- Review and execute tender documents, submission in accordance to tender requirement
- Assist in procurement and overview of purchases
- Liaise with contractors / suppliers on quotation and includes taking off of BQ
- Preparation on submission documents
- Manage pre-tender to post contract stages.
- Prepare and analysing costing for tenders (BCT, compare quotations), breakdown pricing, preliminary cost estimation, costing summary, price comparison and managemen.
- Prepare costing and discuss with Manager / Director for final figure (Margin, Prelim and profit)
- Furnish budgetary costing for tender
- Negotiated final pricing with contractors / supplier (retention, warranty, T&C)
- Preparation of project budgets, report and cost estimation
- Attend site interviews/meetings/site show-rounds to capture all variation claims, preparation of interim valuations and potential variation works with consultants, quantity surveyors, architects, developers and contractors.
- Allocate work to subcontractors and providing advice on contractual claims
- Submission for progress claim
- Preparation of quotations and any VO for submission
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying/Engineering/Building Construction
- At least 2-3 years’ of experience as a Quantity Surveyor
- Specialize in C&S or/and builder’s work or/and M&E services
- Proficient in budget/cost control
- Analytical and detailed oriented
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
